Carla Cantrelle is an actor, a playwright, a novelist and an aerial performer.
She has appeared at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 5 times, often in her own plays, in films and on television.
Her plays have received rave reviews -- as well as grants -- and so has her company Traveling Light Productions.
As a fiction writer she has participated in Francis Ford Coppella's Zoetrope All-Story Writers Conference and the prestigious Breadloaf Writers Conference.
Her trapeze work has been highlighted in Spectacle (the circus trade publicaion) and she is the coproducer of the long-running highly successful aerial variety show ABOVE THE BELT @ The Zipper.

She is a member of AEA, SAG, Dramatists Guild, Fractured Atlas, and Dance Theater Workshop

My short play "Let's Not Talk About Men" is a semi-finalist in the 15th Annual Fifteen Minute Play Festival (aka The Turnip Festival).
This is a fun festival presenting short works and each night the audience chooses the best in the evening. If chosen, that play goes onto the finals (May 15th and 16th) when the audience is joined by industry professionals in selecting the Best Play.
